International Grand Rounds

Each month, the Department of Trauma hosts International Grand Rounds, a cornerstone of our academic mission and a reflection of our commitment to global leadership in trauma care. These sessions bring together our clinical teams, fellows, residents, and students to engage with cutting-edge topics in trauma, acute care surgery, and critical care.

At the heart of this series is the Freeark, Baker & Barrett Visiting Professorship, which honors the legacy of Cook County Trauma.Through this professorship, we welcome distinguished visiting faculty from across the country and around the world—leaders in their fields who share their expertise, challenge our thinking, and inspire the next generation of trauma surgeons.
